In support of their monstrous 2017-released Hostage Animal, ALL PIGS MUST DIE has announced a string of West Coast shows in support of the album. These shows follow the band’s East Coast record release mini-tour which closed out the year, and mark their anticipated return to the West Coast in five years. With Vancouver-based labelmates Baptists on the lineup as well, this will be a tour not to miss. Tickets go on sale Monday, January 8th at 10am in each respective market; see the full routing below.

ALL PIGS MUST DIE, now a five-piece with the addition of Brian Izzi (Trap Them) on guitar, is comprised of some of the most well-seasoned musicians on the eastern seaboard – Kevin Baker (The Hope Conspiracy), Ben Koller (Converge), Matt Woods, and Adam Wentworth (both of Bloodhorse). Hostage Animal is their most dynamic collection of work thus far and is an aural representation of the band as a whole; concise, intense, aggressive, and carrying a bleak world view. Available now from Southern Lord, Hostage Animal showcases that ALL PIGS MUST DIE is far more than the sum of their parts, and their fusion of crust punk, hardcore, and metal is more ferocious than ever before.

Hostage Animal is available through Southern Lord on CD, LP, and all digital formats; stream the album HERE and find physical orders in the US HERE and Europe HERE.

…an album that touches on many of metal’s myriad subgenres without ever succumbing to their comfort zones. Rancid riffs and infernal grooves collide, while vocalist Kevin Baker’s foul bark further projects the sort of misanthropy and nihilism inherent in their overall sound.” – Noisey

one of the finest collections of extreme music 2017 has seen” – Outburn Magazine

… satisfyingly sinister, almost unbelievably heavy riffage.” – SPIN

A monstrous, seething racket that splits the difference between racing hardcore and monolithic thrash-metal.” – Stereogum

The band, now a five-piece with the addition of Brian Izzi (Trap Them) on guitar, is comprised of some of the most well-seasoned musicians on the eastern seaboard, with Kevin Baker (The Hope Conspiracy), Ben Koller (Converge), Matt Woods (Bloodhorse), and Adam Wentworth (Bloodhorse). Hostage Animal is their most dynamic collection of work thus far and is an aural representation of the record as a whole; concise, intense, aggressive and carrying a bleak world view.

ALL PIGS MUST DIE has confirmed several new performances coinciding with the release of Hostage Animal, beginning tonight in Brooklyn, with shows in Boston and Providence following over the next two days. Additional tour dates are to be expected in the months ahead.

ALL PIGS MUST DIE Tour Dates:
10/19/2017 Saint Vitus Bar – Brooklyn, NY
10/20/2017 Great Scott – Boston, MA
10/21/2017 AS220 – Providence, RI

ALL PIGS MUST DIE unleashed their first full length in 2011 with God Is War, and the thirty-minute rip was a nod to primeval disdain and anger. Exploring facets of human conflict one track at a time, God Is War introduced the world to a whole new spectrum of rage. In 2013, APMD upped the ante with Nothing Violates This Nature. Honing their craft with more speed and filth, the band pushed their sound closer to the edge of the cliff. Now, in 2017, the band is gearing up for the release of Hostage Animal which, like its predecessors, was recorded at Kurt Ballou’s GodCity Studio. But that is where the similarities end; Hostage Animal ushers in ten new songs that pulverize, gnash, and whirl with the band’s most punishing delivery yet. Hostage Animal showcases that ALL PIGS MUST DIE is far more than the sum of their parts, and their fusion of crust punk, hardcore, and metal is more ferocious than ever before.

ALL PIGS MUST DIE And GUST To Tour Europe In April

Trollhättan, Sweden-based GUST released their breakneck self-titled second LP via Southern Lord in 2014. Gust is a crushing and incredibly dynamic album, displaying a unique style of crust-infused hardcore and talented songwriting. Fans of Cursed, Oathbreaker, Rise And Fall, and labelmates The Secret, Baptists, and Dead In The Dirt will no doubt find something highly addictive in the band’s harsh output.
