ALL PIGS MUST DIE Announces West Coast Tour With Baptists In February; Hostage Animal LP Out Now Via Southern Lord

In support of their monstrous 2017-released Hostage Animal, ALL PIGS MUST DIE has announced a string of West Coast shows in support of the album. These shows follow the band’s East Coast record release mini-tour which closed out the year, and mark their anticipated return to the West Coast in five years. With Vancouver-based labelmates Baptists on the lineup as well, this will be a tour not to miss. Tickets go on sale Monday, January 8th at 10am in each respective market; see the full routing below.

ALL PIGS MUST DIE, now a five-piece with the addition of Brian Izzi (Trap Them) on guitar, is comprised of some of the most well-seasoned musicians on the eastern seaboard – Kevin Baker (The Hope Conspiracy), Ben Koller (Converge), Matt Woods, and Adam Wentworth (both of Bloodhorse). Hostage Animal is their most dynamic collection of work thus far and is an aural representation of the band as a whole; concise, intense, aggressive, and carrying a bleak world view. Available now from Southern Lord, Hostage Animal showcases that ALL PIGS MUST DIE is far more than the sum of their parts, and their fusion of crust punk, hardcore, and metal is more ferocious than ever before.

BAPTISTS To Record Second LP At Godcity For Southern Lord

Following a few months off the grid after an action-packed first half of 2013, Vancouver’s BAPTISTS, announce their return to the front lines in 2014.

With a rabid, off-kilter and totally decimating style of punk-fueled hardcore rage, BAPTISTS mostly broke onto the scene with their Bushcraft LP, released in February 2013 via Southern Lord, who also dropped the band’s self-titled debut 7″ the prior year. The band’s potent delivery and intense live show, amidst widespread touring of the Western half of North America through much of the year saw them gaining fans of labelmates Black Breath, Dead In The Dirt, All Pigs Must Die and The Secret.

In late April, BAPTISTS will make their return trip across the entire continent to record at Godcity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts with with Kurt Ballou engineering the album once again, as was done for Bushcraft.

BAPTISTS recently tore up Rain City Recorders in their hometown, the studio owned by Stu McKillop, who recorded their Baptists 7″. The band ripped through a full set with an in-house audience, the meaty, twenty-six minute live session captured on multiple cameras, and their set including some brand new tracks from the upcoming album. The Rain City session is now playing RIGHT HERE.

Expect more details on the new album, 2014 live actions and more to be released in the coming weeks. Locals can catch BAPTISTS in the meantime at several regional shows in the coming months.
